Hi Guys & Dolls!
Moving forward with my Anatomy of a Pin Up series, today we’re breaking down foundation. Starting a conversation about foundation or “base” is like opening a can of worms. Everyone is on the quest for the holy grail, but everyone’s expectations and needs are different. Google “Foundation Routine” and you’ll get 75 million results. So if there is one thing I want you to take away from this, it’s that there is no one perfect way to do foundation, a great look can be achieved in endless different ways. And can we stop the skin shame? Sheer isn’t better than full coverage, or vice versa; An expensive foundation won’t necessarily look better than an inexpensive one and we shouldn’t judge if a person does love a $80 Bottle. Test it out for yourself, experiment, and just use what you like and what works for you. Read more
Hey Guys & Dolls!
A few weeks ago, SimplyBe asked me to create a series of Beauty Looks breaking down a classic party look. I thought this would be the perfect time to break down one of the most sought-after looks, A Classic Meets Modern Pin Up! For the next few weeks I’ll be breaking down the anatomy of a Pin-Up look: the Winged Liner, Perfected Skin, False Lashes and The Perfect Red Lip! Today we’re exploring Thick Winged Liner! Read more

About 3 months ago I was scrolling through Instagram and I saw this drool-worthy necklace that LetzMakeup posted. I ached for this rainbow statement necklace, but since Siobhán lives in Ireland, I didn’t think I’d be able to get one for myself. A few days later I was browsing choies.com and what do I discover but the very same necklace! To celebrate this transatlantic bauble love, I asked Shiv if she wanted to collaborate and do makeup looks inspired by the necklace, and then film the outfits we’d wear with the makeup. This is a great opportunity to show you guys how I pair a wild look with an outfit. With this much color, it’s great to do a monochrome/greyscale look with the clothing; The outfit is still fun and in keeping with my signature style, just toned down to let the jewelry and makeup shine.

Hey Guys & Dolls!
Today I’m sharing a pretty look using my new Laura Mercier Artist palette. I simply adore this palette- it’s quickly become an all-time favorite, and one that I’m sad to say is Limited Edition. The Look is simple to do, but looks stunning in a not-trying-too-hard kind of way. I filmed this Sunday afternoon and wore it to visit my in-laws and see their new house, just a lovely day! Hi Guys & Dolls!
Here on Hallows Eve-Eve I bring you the fifth and final video in this years Costume series: A Roaring 1920′s Flapper! This video is over a year in the making; I’ve had this dress since September 2013 (thank goodness it’s still available HERE). I just LOVE 1920′s makeup and fashion, and I’m so pleased with how this turned out. I hope you enjoy this fusion of modern and vintage makeup, along with all my little Vintage Cosmetics factoids peppering the video. Keep reading to read how this is the little video that almost wasn’t! Read more
