Hi Guys & Dolls!
A few weeks ago I went to see the Tran-Siberian Orchestra in Sacramento California. Being that this was a Christmas event and my first time seeing a performance in an Arena I wanted to look fabulous but be comfortable and this dress from SWAN by Clements Ribeiro for Evans was just the thing! Chic & fun without trying too hard- that’s my goal!

Check out that wind giving me a cotton-candy hair halo!

Every thing about this dress screams RIGHT NOW yet is has a timeless feel to it. The Burgundy background and blue print are very in trend but I think are classic enough that this dress will be a fall staple for me for years to come. I love the little things, like the metallic threading running vertically though the fabric and the lace cut out at the shoulder. I Love this dress!

My necklace is a Navajo White Turquoise piece my husband gave me years ago, the Scarf is a “Pashmina” with tied & fringed ends that I painstakingly tied together to make an infinity scarf. It’s soft & silky and the color makes me happy.

Up close you can see the metallic threading. My small waist is one a the things I love about my body, so I’m always happy to show it off with a killer belt. This one is from the Clements Ribeiro SWAN line for Evans. You can just barely tell but the metal is rose gold. Little details like that really make an outfit special.

My bracelet is Faceted Rainbow moonstone, a birthday present from Mr VOT.

My Makeup. I used the Tarte Treat yourself to Gorgeous Palette and MAC Viva Glam IV for this olive/cranberry party!

Very pretty!
I really don’t like that dress on the mfgr website, but my mind is totally changed seeing on you. It really works with your figure and the accessories are perfect, especially the color of the scarf with the dress.
You’ve got to have a little imagination when shopping online! It doesn’t always work out, but I like to think about how I could/would wear a piece ^_^
Omg! I love this look! I also love that type of belt. It really helps give shape to an outfit.
I love it too! thanks babe!
You look simply lovely. In some of the pictures you look like Lauren Graham, she is a doll and so are you.
That’s so funny, I get Lauren Graham a lot. I don’t see it but I’m not at all offended either!
Just wanted to say I love your style!! We kinda have the same tastes in clothes and colors!!! I just never have money lol….3 kids and yes I spend it all on them haha!!!
Hey that’s a good mom right there!!
I absolutely love reading posts like these! I’m a curvy gal as well and it’s so refreshing to see someone loving the body they were given. (Perhaps it’s just southern cali, but it seems like everyone is or wants to be thin and tan. Two things I will never be!) You are such a beautiful person and really an inspiration.
So Cal IS a special breed of superficial, but that look is everywhere now thanks to Jersey Shore. lol
Cora you stylish and beautiful! Great job accessorising!
Ok seriously, that first picture— OMG your face, I was like, Taylor Swift?!?!?! (you’re cooler tho)
I love everything! Too cute! <3
So so so so stunning! I love it <3
