Hi Guys & Dolls,
Makeup for me is about telling a story. The story of the almond eye is powerful, elegant, and sexy. They don’t ask for your attention they command it. The look is bold and graphic, flowing with the eye shape, enhancing it, redefining the scale. The matte black is a stunning look on it’s own, but by adding a tasteful amount of glitter it becomes luxurious. By pairing the bold eyes with a nude or mostly-nude face, the story is edited and clear- the eyes have it.
Who this look is great for: Nearly everyone, but particularly if you have smaller eyes. The shape draws the eyes out giving them a bit more real estate, the bold color pulls focus, and by leaving the inner rims bare if creates the illusion that your eyes are wider. If you have very red or pink inner rims line with white.
Who might this not work for : This might not work for you if you have a very prominent ocular(brow) bone, particularly if it is strong on the side of your eye as it will interfere with the shape.
I encourage you all to try it- unleash your inner vixen.
Below are a battery of photos of this look- it photographs beautifully!

I want to try this with a deep purple. I bet it would be great.
is the TF eyeliner really good at not smearing then? I can’t seem to find an eyeliner besides gel that stays put.

Those lashes totally make this look even better!!
Oooh!

Cora, This look is just stunning! I love it so much!
Love this! But is there any way to do this without lining along the entire lower lid?? I have very round eyes and any liner on my bottom lid (besides the waterline) always looks too pronounced aaand I end up looking like an owl…
I was going to ask the same thing! and my eyes are pretty big so that doesn’t help either lol
love this! will have to try soon. also love your necklace, where did you get it?
Just saw the video on YT, you’re so amazing!
Whenever I try to get a sharp edge I always!! tend to mess it up in the end.. Guess I’ll need some more practice.. Anyway, loved it
Cora, you never cease to amaze me with your talents. You look absolutely fantastic <3 <3 <3
Hi Cora:) I just love this eye look and I am working on trying bolder looks and you are the best on youtube to showcase that! You are very honest and sweet in your videos and extremely talented. I do have one question to ask and tjat is when or if will you do any Halloween tutorials
I was wondering if you have ever done a tutorial on a black eye like this, where the edges are smoked out with another color? (like, solid black eye but black edges blended out, then another color, say bright pink, sort of lightly blended around the edges?) I have seen this look many times, and it seems simple but very bold. I love your tutorials, so I hoped maybe you might have something already or know what I mean. I have been wanting to try something a little out of my normal comfort zone.
Hey do you have wet n wild lipstick colors named copper dust and dark pink frost? If you do can you use it in a makeup tutorial.
