Hi Guys and Dolls!
Today I want to share with you my method of filling & highlighting my eyebrows. I simply love brows, from barely-filled, to Diva brows when the occasion calls! Here’s my every-day version & A few alternative products based on your hair/brow color.
*ELF Brow Comb/Brush
*MAC NW15 Select Cover-Up Concealer (It’s best to use a few shades lighter than your skin if possible)
*An off-brand Concealer Brush (A really flat one works best for creating a crisp line)
*Sonia Kashuk blending brush
*MAC Mystery Eyeshadow (I also sometimes use Coquette depending on it I want it to look more natural)
*MAC 208 Brush- I cannot stress how important it is to find the right brush for doing your brows. The 208 works for me because I like the angle and it’s small and very skinny, I can mimic the appearance of hair if I want! You don’t have to use what I use, just look for one that works for you
*ELF Brow Gel) Seriously, this stuff works great and it’s only a Dollar!
A few other colors that work great for filling in brows depending on your brow/hair color (All M.A.C Shadows unless otherwise mentioned)
*Copperplate (Warm Grey, Great for Ash Blond and Gray Hair)
*Omega ( Cool-Toned Taupe, another that is great for Blonds)
*Cork (Light Golden Brown, Great for Blond-Medium Brown Hair with golden tones)
*Coquette (Zero Red-tone Brown, Great for Blonds-Sparse “Asian” brows”)
*Espresso (Medium Golden brown great for Red-Dark Brown Hair)
*Mystery (Warm yet cool toned Dark Brown, Great for Red-Dark hair)
*Brun (Very Dark Ash Brown, Great for Very dark hair/Complexions)
*Spiked Brow Pencil- Great for getting crisp brows on deep skin tones. I still usually pair this with a brow brush to make it look less “painted on”.
There are TONS of other colors/Brands you could use, but these are my go-to eyeshadows for brows Also all the colors I’ve listed are matte or satin- not shimmery.
