Hey Guys and Dolls!

 

A few days ago Sigma asked me if I would like to giveaway a set of the Sigmax brushes (which I’ve been using and loving but haven’t reviewed yet…bad Cora). My faves from this set are the F80- great for liquid and powder foundation ( I also love the version of this in the retractable purple case) and the F84- it’s perfect for contouring and blush, though it works well for foundation too. As for the F82 I still haven’t found the perfect AH-HA! this-brush is the Holy-Grail  for “__(insert cosmetic application here)__” but it also works well for foundation particularly in difficult areas like the nose. So there’s a mini-review, with a promise to do a full-review later :)

My fave Holiday movie is currently The Family Stone. I could watch it year-round, but it’s a great story about the reality of family life and love.. I also love Elf!

Now that’s a great gift :) My favorite Holiday movie has got to be “Love Actually” I watch it each year ;) …and yep cry each time too when Emma Thompson’s character figures out that her husband is cheating on her on xmas morning but as a super mom swallows back her tears and pretends everything is just fine to make sure her kids have a great xmas anyway.

    It’s not all sad…it’s very funny too since the movie follows a bunch of people around xmas time. And the cast is amazing!

My YT’s username is AnagnorisisTragica, and my fave Xmas movie must be “Scrooge”, the one from the 70′s, but there’s also the “original” from the 50′s; because I love that Dickens’ tale (for me it’s like: SO christmas, if I think of Xmas I DO think of it); there are many movies about it but that’s sort of a classic xD Used to watch it with my child-eyes and loved it since then :)

  456. I’m outinapout on You Tube. By holiday, I’m guessing you really mean Christmas, but if I’m being honest, my favorite holiday movie is not a Christmas movie, or even about a holiday. It’s Wizard of Oz. When I was little (long, long ago in a time we called “the 80s”…) they used to play Wizard of Oz on Halloween night on TV. Since VCRs were new tech, this was really the only time all year you could see it. Combined with the candy and the fact that my mom would let us camp out on the living room floor so we could stay up late watching it, it was always a very magical experience. To this day, I pop it in the DVD player every Halloween to recreate the experience!
